A time of renewal and growth …
… with that in mind I thought it high time I took a little step forward or maybe back ? into blogging …
Much has changed .. but let’s see where this journey takes me ..
from a quiet moment in the garden …
to sketching on the hills …
… to getting to know my camera again and giving those brushes and pens a workout too 🙂
But just before I go with Growth and Renewal in mind … close by my window here at home another WIP is happening … I’ve spotted a pair of Robins darting back and forth to an ivy clad post with beaks full of moss from the garden …
I rather imagine this little nest will be as softly squishy as Granny’s knitting wool bag by the time they have finished 🙂

It’s all been v quiet around the nest .. I do hope they have been successful .. time will tell .

Yes, lots of music but not much painting. I must get back into it soon… it’s just that the songs keep coming and I haven’t had a run like this since the 1990s : )

Oh, that snowdrop!! Fabulous!! All intimacy and promise…
I love the pencil sketch, too, for the way it’s organized with all the different parts of the landscape attended to. And the textures. 🙂

Snowdrops are just that Lynne .. yes ! full of promise . An unexpected treat to find this little clump of flowers in the flower border .
The hills gave my pencils a workout for sure trying new squiggles and lines . You knew what I was after Lol thanks so much for that x
